Information for the 2009 Scholarship will be available in March 2009 with the award made in June 2009. The following information was for 2008, but is similar to what you may expect for 2009. The Diplomatic Security Foundation (DSF) will award a scholarship of $2,500 to a high school senior.Only one award will be made for the 2008/2009 school year.
DSF scholarships are available to students related to active, retired, former with over 5 years of service, contractor with 3 or more years consecutive service in DS, or deceasedDiplomatic Security employees. The scholarship period is from the date award is made through the end of the second semester of the institution attended.For example: 6/1/08 (award date) through May 15, 2009 (end of 2nd semester).
