The Diplomatic Security Foundation (DSF) is proud to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the DSF Charity Golf Outing, originally founded in 1990 by DS Special Agent Mike Considine. As our premier annual fundraiser, this event enables DSF to provide critical grants to members of the global Diplomatic Security “family” facing hardship or crisis, as well as to support our scholarship program for high school seniors. Since our founding in 1995, DSF has awarded more than $1.7 million in grants, including $110,000 in 2025 alone. We are deeply honored to stand with these families in their times of greatest need (visit our Grants page for a complete list of awards).

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and golfers, this vital work continues. Last year’s outing raised an extraordinary $210,000, with 100% of proceeds directed to grants. We invite you to join us in making this year’s event our most successful yet.

A FUN AND CASUAL DAY OF GOLF

This event welcomes golfers of all skill levels (yes, even hackers!) and offers a fantastic opportunity to play one of the premier golf courses in the Washington, DC area. The $225 registration fee includes green fees and cart, a continental breakfast, access to on-course beverage carts, lunch during the round, and a post-golf reception.

Short on time? No problem. Join us for breakfast registration in the morning or stop by after the round for the reception, which features awards and the raffle.

After that date, fees are refundable only if we can replace you with someone off the waitlist – otherwise, fees converts to a tax deductible donation.)

Sponsorships start at just $150 for a Hole Sponsorship and go up to $25,000+ for an Ambassador Sponsorship—with options for every level of support. But act fast—sponsorships are available only until early May!

INKIND DONATIONS: Donating an item for our awesome raffle is an easy and helpful way to sponsor. Raffle Sponsors are recognized just like regular sponsors. Want to Volunteer?
If you’re interested in volunteering, let us know. We need a ton of help from 7:00-10:00 am. When the golfers are out it is quiet, but then things pick back up around 3pm as the golfers start returning. So if you can only work half a day, just let us know if you’re available AM or PM. Email us at Info@dsfoundation.org.

Need a hotel?
We don’t have a block of rooms, so visit the Lansdowne Resort for room availability. Also check out SpringHill Suites Ashburn Dulles North or Tru by Hilton Ashburn One Loudoun, both are just a short 4 mile drive away and are usually under $200 a night.
